Dear Program Directors,
Thank you to the numerous APPD members who contributed their time and expertise envisioning this project and authoring the chapters below, in this first revision of the PD Handbook since its original publication by Julia McMillan in 1997. Each chapter has been adjusted to a standard format and edited by two individual PD Executive Committee members. We plan to update this handbook in 3-year cycles, led by the PD Executive Committee.
