APPD Fall 2021 Meeting Logo

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the APPD Fall Meeting! The APPD Annual Fall Meeting provides members with the opportunity to network and learn what is new in medical education curriculum. Attendees explore innovative education approaches, enjoy networking, and discuss best practices of medical education.


Early-bird fee: $250 per person on/before August 27

Regular fee: $300 per person on/after August 28

Fee include access to all session recordings for 6-months after the meeting. Attendees will receive access to the virtual meeting platform one-week prior to the meeting.

Target Audience

Bring the whole team, including program directors, fellowship directors, associate program directors, coordinators, chief residents, and other educational leaders!

We hope that any APPD member who wishes to attend the meeting will be able to do so.  Understanding the financial stress incurred by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering financial hardship scholarships for APPD members who would like to attend the meeting but are prohibited by financial constraints.

She’s working to help our nation overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and build a stronger foundation for a healthier future - one in which every American can attain their full health potential. Dr. Levine’s storied career, first in academic medicine, and as a physician then Pennsylvania’s Physician General and then as Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health, has focused on the intersection between mental and physical health, often treating children, adolescents, and young adults.

Virtual Fall Meeting 2021 Service Project

The APPD Coordinators' Executive Committee invites you to participate in an Association wide, Nationwide Winter Clothing Collection! Coordinate with your home regions/institutions by collecting and donating cold weather items (jackets, blankets, hats. gloves, etc.) to your local shelters.

We ask that you select an organization that is in need of these items (i.e. food banks, children's shelters, homeless shelters, PRIDE organization s, refugee clinics, etc.). Take the month of September to collect donations from faculty, residents, other PC's, and persons from across your organization.

During the week of September 20th drop-off the donations! Be sure to wear your APPD shirts and snap some pictures when you make your deliveries! You can send photos of persons donating in your office or of you and your team dropping off the deliveries. Send your pictures to with your NAME, LOCATION, CHARITY and use #APPDGIVESBACK on social media! Download the service flyer.

Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and Association of Pediatric Program Directors.  Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians (ACCME)

Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Board of Pediatrics MOC Part 2
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enable the participant to earn 13.50 MOC Part 2 points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participants completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit. Participant must complete the assessment within 30 days of the activity. Participant information will be uploaded to ABP 30 days post activity. You must request your certificate within 30 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to PARS.
