Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our team as an APP/Hospitalist. The primary function of this role is to provide front-line care to patients in our expanding, quaternary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Our PICU APP/Hospitalists work under the supervision of a PICU Attending and in collaboration with residents, Fellows, nurses, respiratory therapists, and many other allied health professionals. This position does include weekday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts (including some holidays).

While our Hospitalist role has traditionally been filled by Pediatricians who are considering pursuing a PICU Fellowship, we are open to crafting unique positions for interested PICU Fellowship graduates (including mentorship and experience in your academic area of interest and/or opportunity for Attending-level shifts). We also expect to be growing our Attending faculty in the upcoming months as we are opening additional PICU beds this fall.
