Golisano Chidlren’s Hospital (GCH) at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY is excited to offer the opportunity for a first year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship position starting in July 2026. GCH provides care for 85,000 children each year from a broad catchment area in the Finger Lakes region of western New York. Our 28 pediatric intensive care bed units of PICU and pediatric cardiac care unit (PCCC) provide critical care to a medically, surgically, and demographically diverse group of patients. The size and function of our units optimize the development of the knowledge and skill sets essential to a highly qualified pediatric intensivist while providing a supportive and flexible environment. Fellows are exposed to and intimately involved in the care of patients across the full spectrum of pediatric critical illness and injury, with collaboration with a full complement of subspecialities. The fellowship also provides training in procedures of intubation, vascular access/central lines, POCUS, and bronchoscopy.
