The Pediatric Residency Program at Broward Health is seeking a Fourth-Year Pediatric Chief Resident to join our residency leadership team for the 2026-2027 academic year. This one-year role offers the opportunity to gain experience in medical education, leadership, scheduling, and quality improvement while providing supervisory pediatric care in a clinical setting for 24 pediatric residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of 24 pediatric residents
- Facilitate resident scheduling and communication between residents and faculty
- Organize and teach didactics and simulation sessions
- Provide resident mentorship and support
- Support QI projects and resident scholarly activities
- Play an integral role in resident recruitment
- Provide high-quality clinical care and supervision of residents in an outpatient setting
Qualifications:
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency by June 30, 2026
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational skills
- Passion for teaching and mentorship
- Eligible for medical licensure in Florida
