After the match, one of our categorical pediatrics residents will be relocating residencies for personal reasons. With that, our pediatric residency program at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking to fill an unexpected opening for a second-year categorical pediatric resident.
Anticipated start date- July 1, 2026.

To be considered for this opportunity, the candidate must have successfully completed their intern year in an ACGME accredited general pediatrics residency program and be in good standing with their current training program. Candidates should submit:
- a recent CV
- 2 letters of recommendation
- a letter of support from current program director
- and a letter stating the reason for transferring their training.
