Position Overview

SUNY Upstate Medical University’s Pediatric Residency Program is offering a PGY‑3 position for the 2026–2027 academic year. We are seeking a resident committed to high-quality pediatric care and academic growth, and to providing compassionate care and serving the medically underserved communities of Central New York.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Successful completion of 24 months of ACGME‑accredited Pediatric residency training by June 2026.
  • Eligible for promotion to PGY-3 at the end of the current academic year

Documentation Required

  • Letter of good standing with confirmation of promotion eligibility from the current program director
  • Verification of successful completion of all PGY-1 and PGY-2 pediatric competencies
