About Us

We’re excited to welcome applications for a PGY-3 categorical pediatric resident to join our team beginning July 2026. This is a unique chance to complete your residency training in a program that values community, wellness, and growth just as much as it does excellent clinical education.

As part of our residency family, you’ll train at Hasbro Children’s, Rhode Island’s only dedicated children’s hospital and a regional leader in pediatric care. You’ll be surrounded by engaged faculty, supportive peers, and diverse patients who will challenge you, inspire you, and prepare you for the next step in your career. Our program has 48 categorical Pediatric residents, 15 Med-Peds residents, and 15 Triple Board residents all working side by side! Hasbro Children’s is a tertiary care level 1 trauma center with 70+ inpatient floor beds, an inpatient pediatric Med-Psych unit, a 16-bed PICU, and a pediatric emergency room seeing close to 60,000 visits per year. Our NICU is one of the nation’s largest single-family room units, located in our neighboring at Women and Infant’s Hospital.

Why Brown Pediatrics?

  • Comprehensive Training: From primary care to subspecialty experiences, you’ll see the full spectrum of pediatrics.
