Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s Pediatric Residency Program has an opening for a PGY-2 resident starting July 1, 2025. We are a highly academic program with roots as a large community hospital. We provide care throughout the entire spectrum from primary care to the most highly specialized and complex patients as well as spanning the rich ethnic and racial diversity and socioeconomic backgrounds reflected in greater Los Angeles and beyond.

Our smaller program (8 residents/year) provides a tight-knit community and a safe and supportive learning environment. We have an amazingly diverse curriculum with significant flexibility to pursue areas of interest through our individualized curriculum allowing the exploration of various career pathways: primary care, subspecialty pediatrics, research and community medicine/advocacy. Cedars-Sinai GME is fully committed to resident education and well-being as reflected in market-leading compensation and faculty-level benefits. Please see below for more details:

Please note the following requirements:

  • Successful completion of PGY-1 year in an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program
  • CV and Cover Letter/Letter of Interest
  • 2 Letter of Recommendation, at least one from your Program Director
  • Medical School: Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE), transcript, USMLE/COMLEX scores
