We are pleased to announce that we have a Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship position available to start in July 2025 for Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) has been consistently ranked in the US News and World Report Top 10 Children’s Hospitals.  We have a busy practice with >5,000 outpatient visits per year. We serve patients from 8 states with some patients driving >6 hours to be seen in our department.

In addition to our 9 rheumatologists, fellows have the opportunity to learn from our social worker, specialty pharmacist, and embedded psychologist.  We have 3 ultrasound certified rheumatologists and have had fellows pursue formal ultrasound training, including receiving RhMSUS/USSONAR certification.

There are scholarships available for fellows interested in obtaining a Masters during fellowship. Previous fellows have completed Masters in Medical Education, Masters of Science, and Masters of Public Health.  For those interested in bench research, we have collaborations with multiple scientists at NCH and The Ohio State University with expertise in bench and translational research.

We have a robust lupus and vasculitis clinic with multiple subspecialty involvement that includes nephrology and pulmonology. Additionally, we have rheumatologists who attend the Neuroimmunology and Hemato-Immuno-Lymphoproliferative (HILP) multidisciplinary clinics.

We look forward to hearing from you!
