The Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) Fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is seeking a highly motivated pediatrician to join our program in an open, off-cycle position. Our ACGME-accredited PHM Fellowship offers comprehensive training in:

Position Details

  • Start Date: July 7, 2026
  • Eligibility: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency by start date
  • Responsibilities:
    • Participate fully in clinical rotations spanning general pediatrics, newborn care, complex care, and subspecialty experiences
    • Engage in scholarly activity, including a mentored QI or research project
    • Develop skills in teaching medical students and residents
    • Contribute to program initiatives and educational innovation

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree or equivalent
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated interest in hospital medicine, medical education, QI, or healthcare systems
