Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in partnership with Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, Texas has an available first-year PHM fellowship position beginning July of 2026. We are seeking interested candidates for the position!
Our PHM program is ACGME accredited and is well established, now entering our fellowship program’s 10th year. It is a 2-year fellowship with 1 fellow position per year. Our program has focus on clinical skills, medical education, individualized mentorship, teamwork, leadership development, quality improvement, and scholarship. We offer a highly supportive training environment. Covenant Children’s Hospital is a freestanding children’s hospital that serves a large regional referral area inclusive of western Texas and eastern New Mexico. Our pediatric hospital medicine team provides care to patients admitted to the hospital’s general pediatric medical/surgical unit, an intermediate care unit, and pediatric rehabilitation unit. Covenant Children’s Hospital is staffed with a full complement of pediatric subspeciality providers with whom our division works closely. There is robust opportunity to work with a spectrum of learners inclusive of undergraduate students, medical students in years 1 through 4, and pediatric residents. Lubbock is located in northwestern Texas, has a metropolitan population of 320,000, and boasts a cost of living below the national average with a mild climate.
