Our fellowship training program is seeking two first-year fellows to join our Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Cellular, Immunotherapies and Transplant Program starting in July 2026.

About Our Program

  • We are a robust middle-sized program caring for 80-90 new oncology patients a year. Additionally, we have an IHTC recognized coagulopathy program and a high-volume sickle cell program with 350-450 patients. We are the only program in the state to offer pediatric bone marrow transplant, CAR T-cell therapy, and gene therapy.
  • Affiliated with VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-designated cancer center.
  • Children’s Oncology Group Site

Conditions Treated:

We offer a multidisciplinary approach to treating all cancers and blood disorders, including:

  • Benign blood disorders, such as iron deficiency and blood platelet conditions
  • Brain and spinal cord tumors
  • Bone and soft tissue sarcomas
  • Bone marrow failure (aplastic anemia)
  • Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH)
  • Leukemia (blood cancer)
  • Liver tumors
  • Lymphoma
  • Hemophilia and other coagulation disorders
  • Neuroblastoma
  • Neurofibromatosis
  • Platelet dysfunction
  • Rare tumor diseases
  • Renal tumors
  • Sickle cell anemia
  • Tuberous sclerosis (TSC)
