Dear Friends,
We are thrilled to open applications for the Stephen Berman Memorial Pediatric Global Health Fellowship at the University of Colorado and Colorado School of Public Health! We are accepting applications for a one – to two-year fellowship training program in Pediatric Global Health starting July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 (with the possibility for a 2-year fellowship). We will be accepting 1-2 applicants. The mission of this fellowship program is to provide the mentoring, training and experiences for fellows to become independently directed global health advocates, clinicians, and investigators with the capacity to design, implement, and evaluate innovative global health programs in a collaborative manner. Fellows will split time between Children’s Hospital Colorado or another domestic global health partner site and an international partner site (Mbale, Uganda or Trifinio, Guatemala). Fellows are compensated competitively compared to other global health fellowships along the PGY scale. Applicants should be in their final year or have already completed pediatric residency; be interested in clinical placements in general full-spectrum pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine; and be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Applications are now being accepted, and candidates will be interviewed virtually on a rolling basis. If you are interested, please apply at this link.
Sincerely,
Lisa Umphrey, MD
