We’re thrilled to share a unique opportunity for pediatrics-trained physicians who are interested in dermatology.
The Division of Dermatology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago has partnered with the Northwestern University Dermatology Residency Program to offer a dedicated dermatology residency position for applicants with a background in pediatrics.
This innovative pathway was created for candidates who have completed a pediatrics residency and are seeking a career in pediatric dermatology.
Candidates will apply via ERAS in the fall of their PGY2 year in Pediatrics, for a Dermatology residency position to commence upon graduation from their Pediatrics residency. Northwestern University Department of Dermatology will offer one position per year, providing a three-year comprehensive training program culminating in board-eligibility in Dermatology. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in Dermatology, and are encouraged to pursue an additional year of fellowship training to become eligible for board certification in Pediatric Dermatology.
We’re excited about this opportunity to nurture the next generation of pediatric dermatologists. Join us in shaping the future of this exciting field!
