The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is seeking a motivated physician to join our ACGME-accredited Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program. Fellows receive comprehensive training in the management of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents within a high-acuity, academically rich PICU. Clinical responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary care for patients with respiratory failure, shock, trauma, neurocritical illness, and complex postoperative needs, as well as performing procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and point-of-care ultrasound. Fellows benefit from exposure to advanced technologies including ECMO, CRRT, HFOV, MARS, and a full spectrum of invasive and noninvasive ventilatory strategies.
In addition to exceptional clinical experience, fellows participate in a robust curriculum of didactics, simulation, and interdisciplinary education while teaching residents and medical students. Each fellow completes mentored scholarly work in clinical research, quality improvement, or medical education. Ideal candidates have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency, demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, and are committed to compassionate, family-centered care.
