The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is recruiting a candidate to begin a one-year long Pediatric Acute Care Fellowship program in July 2026.
One of only a handful of Pediatric Urgent Care/Acute Care fellowships in the country, our Pediatric Acute Care program is a one-year fellowship designed for pediatricians interested in both community and academic medicine. Fellows will gain necessary clinical skills such as performing urgent and emergency care procedures, procedural sedation, and will gain experience with pediatric POCUS first-hand from top leaders in the field. Fellows will also be exposed to urgent care administration, research, and education. Working closely with both urgent care providers and the Pediatric Emergency Medicine division, fellows will have a wide breadth of mentorship available.
