The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at UT-Health Houston is actively recruiting for a 1st year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellow to join our program next academic year (2026-2027). We are affiliated with McGovern Medical School at UT (University of Texas) Health and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Regarding clinical opportunities during fellowship:
- 22-bed PICU with separate 20-bed Cardiovascular ICU
- ECMO and renal replacement therapies offered, including a dedicated ECMO rotation in the Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute
- Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center
- Top 20 in Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery (US News and World Report)
- Top 50 in Pediatric GI/GI Surgery and Pediatric Neurology/Neurosurgery (US News and World Report)
- Dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team
Our ACGME-accredited fellowship is comprised of 11 current fellows from many different backgrounds. Fellows within our program gain excellent clinical skills, and past graduates have thrived as attendings in numerous environments – both academic and otherwise. J-1 visas accepted.
