Chair of Council of Regional Chairs Job Description
Chair of Council of Regional Chairs Responsibilities:
- Lead quarterly Zoom calls of APPD Regional Chairs/Vice Chairs (with potential for more frequent meetings as needed).
- Lead one in person meeting at the APPD Annual Spring Meeting with other three via Zoom.
- Lead the Council of Regional Chairs Meeting at the APPD Annual Spring Meeting (including setting the agenda, developing slides, facilitating discussion during the session) – for in-person conference
- Review all semiannual regional reports
- Provide a summary of the semiannual regional reports to the APPD Board liaison
- On-board new Regional Chairs/Vice Chairs Coach/advise/support Regional Chairs/Vice Chairs
- Facilitate any policy changes related to the Regional Chairs through written requests to the Board
- Communicate with the Board Liaison to the Regional Chairs quarterly about progress and/or challenges experienced by the Regional Groups Overall
Service to APPD:
- Attend Annual Spring Meeting
- Participate in any additional scheduled phone calls or other asks as requested by the Board
Serve in this role for three years
