Is the curriculum suitable for both junior and senior GME trainees with varying levels of experience?
-
- The curriculum was created to provide a standardized basic level of knowledge for pediatric residents around behavioral and mental health (BMH) topics based on the competencies in the BMH EPA. As residents at different training programs may have various levels of prior teaching on these topics, some senior residents may already be familiar with much of the content. However, included case scenarios and knowledge check questions demonstrate application of the content to common patient scenarios as well as real patient encounters encouraging practice that leads to competence.
