PREREQUISITES:

US graduate resident applicants must:

  • Have graduated from an LCME-approved US allopathic medical or osteopathic school by June 15, 2026.
  • Have graduated from an LCME-approved medical school within 3 years of application for residency unless enrolled in an ACGME-accredited training program or in the US military.

International Medical Graduates must:

  • Have graduated by June 15, 2026, with a completed ECFMG certificate and a CSA certificate where appropriate.
  • Have graduated from medical school within 3 years of application for residency unless enrolled in an ACGME-accredited training program or in the US military.

All resident applicants must have appropriate references as to potential and acceptable proficiency in the six ACGME-defined pediatric competencies.

  • Resident applicants must display the professional characteristics and behaviors expected of a physician, including but not limited to:
  • A positive attitude toward medical students, residents in training, other health care professionals, and medicine in general.
  • Adaptability to new situations and work schedules.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow directions, accountability, and dependability.
  • Resident applicants must be able to carry out the duties and responsibilities of their appointed position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must have passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 or COMLEX 1 and COMPLEX 2
