Position Overview
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital’s Pediatric Residency Program is offering a PGY 2 position for the 2026–2027 academic year. We are seeking a motivated resident dedicated to providing compassionate pediatric care and serving the medically underserved communities of Santa Barbara County.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Prerequisite Training
- Successful completion of 12 months of ACGME‑accredited Pediatric residency training by June 2026, consistent with ACGME specialty training requirements for Pediatrics.
- Eligible for promotion to PGY‑2 status at the conclusion of the current academic year.
- Documentation Required
- Letter of good standing and promotion eligibility from the current Program Director.
- Verification that the applicant has met all PGY‑1 Pediatric competencies required for advancement.
- Professional Values
- Demonstration of commitment to serving underserved and vulnerable pediatric populations in Santa Barbara County.
