The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Pediatrics in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a Program Director for its Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship program. The PD provides leadership and direction of all aspects of the fellowship curriculum, which prioritizes individualized clinical training and incorporates innovative curricula focused on clinical excellence, leadership, and scholarship. The PD will have the opportunity to build upon the strong foundation of this young GME program and participate in the institution’s active and growing GME community.
The successful candidate is a BE/BC pediatric emergency medicine physician who has a record of excellence in medical education and academic scholarship and is interested in pursuing faculty appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Our Level I Trauma Emergency Center treats over 43,000 patients a year in state-of-the-art facilities. We have 24/7 PEM overlapping coverage with accompanying 12-hour urgent care and 24/7 advanced practice provider coverage. The Emergency Center serves as teaching facility for our PEM Fellowship and learners from pediatrics, emergency medicine, and family medicine programs.
