Dartmouth Health Children’s Pediatric Residency Program in Lebanon, NH invites applicants to apply for a PGY-2 position beginning in July 2026.

About Our Program

The Pediatric Residency program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is a comprehensive, fully accredited three-year training program with broad inpatient and outpatient experiences. At the core of our program is a strong focus on high-value, family-centered care. Faculty and residents enjoy the small-town and rural communities throughout New Hampshire and Vermont in which they practice and live. Our program strongly supports and promotes the Dartmouth Health commitment to belonging.

Our Pediatric Residency program is part of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. We provide the only tertiary facility for children in New Hampshire.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Have completed one year of ACGME-accredited pediatric residency training in good standing.
  • Have passing scores on USMLE Steps 1,2, and 3 or COMLEX Levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • Be a graduate of:
    • a US or Canadian LCME-accredited medical school.
    • an international medical school with ECFMG certification.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center sponsors J-1 visas.

  • Personal Statement describing career goals
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation, including one from current Program Director
  • Medical School transcripts
  • USMLE and/or COMLEX transcripts
  • ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
