Atrium Health Navicent/ The Medical Center in Macon, Georgia is accepting applications for 2 PGY 2 positions in our ACGME accredited Pediatric Residency Program, beginning July 2026. We are expanding our class size from 6 to 8 residents per year.
About Our Program
The Pediatric Residency Program at Atrium Health Navicent provides a strong, community-based training experience with exposure to a wide spectrum of pediatric conditions, dedicated faculty, subspecialty support, and a positive culture. Our residents receive hands on experience with diverse patient populations and benefit from the resources of a major regional children’s hospital.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- have successfully completed one year of ACGME accredited pediatric residency training (or a one-year waiver) by the start date.
- have ECFMG certification (if applicable)
- provide a letter of good standing from their current Program Director.
- hold US citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work authorization (J1 visas only).
- meet all institutional onboarding and credentialing requirements.

- USMLE/COMLEX scores
- ITE Scores
- Three letters of recommendation, including one from the current Program Director
- ACGME milestone reports (if available)
- Summative evaluation or rotation evaluations from PGY 1 year
