The Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Neonatology fellowship program in Winston-Salem, NC has 2 available positions for 1st year fellows starting in July 2026. Our training program, which is now in its 33rd year, has a number of strengths, including a close community of 15 faculty and 7 fellows (expanding to 9!), a 79-bed Level IV NICU with about 900 admissions annually, and strong quality improvement and clinical research opportunities. We have a weekly fellow education conference that includes a comprehensive core curriculum, POCUS curriculum, and CV curriculum. Our outpatient experience includes time spent in our NICU follow up clinic, a combined Neuro-NICU follow up clinic, and a combined NICU-MFM prenatal counseling clinic. Completion or anticipated completion of an ACGME approved pediatric residency is required. We accept J-1 visas.
