The Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at Children’s Mercy has 2 available fellowship positions with a July 2026 start date. Children’s Mercy Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes is one of the largest in the country with 22 faculty and 4 NPs in Kansas City. We are supported by a large staff of diabetes educators, endocrine testing and clinic nurses, research coordinators, social work, and psychologists. Among our specialty and multidisciplinary clinics, we care for patients with Prader Willi syndrome, 22q deletion syndrome, Turner Syndrome, Differences of Sex Development, PCOS, thyroid nodules, and cancer survivorship. With a wide catchment area covering Kansas and half of Missouri, we care for patients from many diverse backgrounds. Opportunities for scholarly projects range from quality improvement, education, and basic science and clinical research spanning both endocrinology and diabetes.

Children’s Mercy (CM) is located in Kansas City, Missouri and is a free-standing children’s hospital with 390 beds. CM provides world-class educational opportunities for trainees. A top-ranked hospital with 40 pediatric specialties, CM serves as the regional referral center and provides excellent training in clinical pediatrics. Strong support from the Children’s Mercy Research Institute and the only pediatric Genomic center in the country provides training for the next generation of physician scientists.
