The Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join our team as full time nocturnist hospitalist at the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone Health. The individuals will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a state-of-the-art acute care medical surgical unit. Responsibilities include supervision and teaching medical students, pediatric residents and advanced practice providers, as well as participation in hospital-related administrative, research and/or quality improvement initiatives. The individual will join our growing and dynamic Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division, which actively engages in all these activities, and will have access to a wide array of professional development resources offered by the institution. PHM board eligibility or certification is not required but is a plus. Recent residency graduates are welcome to apply.
Salary Range $180,000- $200,000
The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Pediatrics, possess outstanding clinical skills, hold current NY licensure, and PALS. Applicants are eligible for a faculty appointment at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics.
