The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Pediatric Residency Program at Arkansas Children’s Hospital is accepting applications for a PGY-2 position starting July 1, 2025.
UAMS is a highly academic program situated in a large, free-standing children’s hospital that serves a wide range of patients-from primary care to the most complex and specialized pediatric cases. We are proud to care for children and families from richly diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds across Arkansas and beyond.
As a medium-sized program with 25 residents per class, we offer a strong sense of community within a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Our curriculum is both comprehensive and flexible, with robust opportunities to individualize training across pathways such as primary care, subspecialty pediatrics, global health, advocacy, research, and medical education.
The UAMS Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office is deeply committed to resident development and well-being, offering competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and faculty-level support systems.
