The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics is seeking qualified candidates for a PGY2 position to start July 1, 2026.
We are an ACGME accredited program with 39 categorical pediatric and 4 child neurology residents.

Our residency program will provide you with an exceptional foundation in pediatric medicine while allowing you to personalize your learning path and pursue your unique medical interests. Our program offers three specialized tracks– the Global Health Leadership Track, the Clinical Educator Track, and the Primary Care Track. We also have a long-standing Home Visit Program, which enables our residents to connect with families on an even deeper level in their homes. In addition, there are opportunities to become involved with a variety of research projects.
