APPD 2026 Southeast Region Vice Chair Election

Dear Pediatric Residency Program Director:

Each categorical pediatric residency program has *ONE* vote for each open position. The voting deadline is Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

• Votes for the Southeast Region Program Director Vice Chair will be cast by the Pediatric Residency Program Director on behalf of the entire program. Each program will cast one (1) vote. There are 4 candidates running for 1 open position. The member receiving the highest number of votes will become the Southeast Region Program Director Vice Chair for the 2026-2027 academic year. This will be the first of a three year position serving first as the Vice Chair then subsequently as Chair (2027-2028) and Immediate Past Chair (2028-2029).

• Votes for the Southeast Region Program Manager Vice Chair will be cast by the Pediatric Residency Program Director on behalf of the entire program. Each program will cast one (1) vote. There are 3 candidates running for 1 open position. The member receiving the highest number of votes will become the Southeast Region Program Manager Vice Chair for the 2026-2027 academic year. This will be the first of a three year position serving first as the Vice Chair then subsequently as Chair (2027-2028) and Immediate Past Chair (2028-2029).

IMPORTANT: Each program receives only ONE ballot for this opening, sent to the Pediatric Residency Program Director, and you will only be allowed to submit your vote one time.
