The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) is recruiting Pediatric Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. We are seeking candidates dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participating in research and scholarly activities which advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
The Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Program at CHAM is consistently ranked among America’s best in the U.S. News & World Report for Pediatric Gastroenterology and GI Surgery Programs. The division includes 11 Board-Certified pediatric gastroenterologists and 2 Board-Certified pediatric hepatologists, 5 nurse practitioners, 4 clinical nurses, 2 dietitians, 2 social workers, and a transplant psychologist. We have a well-established ACGME-accredited fellowship program with two fellows per year. The hospital features a state-of-the-art endoscopy and fluoroscopy suite, equipped to support a wide range of advanced procedures.
Our Division provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of gastrointestinal and nutritional disorders. Faculty have expertise in the management of inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, celiac disease, disorders of the pancreas, motility, feeding and nutrition challenges, functional gastrointestinal disorders, liver diseases, and complex intestinal diseases. The division provides intestinal ultrasound, fibroscan and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services supported by a highly skilled and specially trained procedural team. We partner with multidisciplinary teams including the Aerodigestive, Intestinal Rehabilitation, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Liver Transplantation programs. Clinical care is provided at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein in the Bronx as well as multiple ambulatory sites throughout the region. In addition to a competitive salary of $185,000-$250,000 commensurate with academic rank, we offer the opportunity to enhance compensation with clinical productivity incentives and bonuses.
