The Rutgers Health Pediatric Residency Program at Children’s Hospital Of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is accepting applications for an anticipated PGY-2 residency opening for the July, 2022 academic year. The Pediatric residency program has a more than 40 year history of training highly qualified Pediatricians entering into both primary care and subspecialty pediatrics. The program takes 10 categorical residents per year along with 4 additional combined Internal Medicine-Pediatric residents and 1 Pediatric Neurology resident annually. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is one of the largest teaching institutions in New Jersey.
Children’s Hospital Of New Jersey is located in Newark’s South Ward 20 minutes from NYC. It is a referral center for many area hospitals. As an anchor RWJBH institution along with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel covers over 30 different pediatric subspecialties with our Level-4 NICU, 19 bed PICU and New Jersey’s only ECMO center for children.
