The Pediatric Residency Program of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware has an opening for a PGY-2 position starting July 1, 2022. This position is ideal for a Pediatric resident who will be completing the PGY-1 year and wishes to relocate to the Philadelphia/Delaware region.
Our residency program has 66 categorical residents and 3 Chief Residents. Categorical pediatrics residents will also work with residents from our Child Neurology and Pediatrics/Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation programs and Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residents sponsored by nearby Christiana Care. Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware has 18 fellowship programs, and each year about half of our residents continue with fellowship training at some of the top fellowships around the country. In addition to robust clinical experiences, we also offer rich research experiences and opportunities to engage in service and advocacy work.
