We’d like to let you know about an open clinical fellowship position in Pediatric Pulmonology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.  Our program is housed at Children’s Health Medical Center, one of the largest pediatric healthcare providers in the nation. It is sponsored by UT Southwestern Medical Center which provides training to over 2,000 fellows and residents a year and is a nationally known research institution.

Our pediatric pulmonology program is ranked by the U.S. News & World Report list of Best Children’s Hospitals for providing excellent patient centered and comprehensive care to children in acute and ambulatory settings. Out pediatric pulmonologists care for a range of acute and chronic lung conditions including severe asthma, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, aerodigestive disorders, neuromuscular disorders, sleep disorders and chronic respiratory failure requiring technology dependence. The clinical curriculum is enhanced with multiple didactics, procedural training in bronchoscopy, lung function interpretation and sleep studies. Our program is structured to provide a strong clinical experience while providing work life balance.

As the 4th largest Metroplex in the country, Dallas is a vibrant and growing city with a reasonable cost of living.  Dallas is a current hot spot for young professionals and has seen its urban and suburban areas quickly diversify in the last decade.
