The Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute (CBDI) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is recruiting pediatricians to serve as oncology hospitalists (nocturnists) on our inpatient oncology unit. Oncology nocturnists will supervise and teach pediatric residents as well as provide direct care to patients with cancer admitted to the pediatric oncology ward. Hours and salary are competitive.
The CBDI is the pediatric component of the NCI-Designated USC-Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. As one of the largest and top-ranked pediatric hematology-oncology programs in the US serving one of our nation’s most diverse patient populations, CHLA is a premier pediatric teaching hospital affiliated with USC, which is the oldest private research university in the Western U.S. and among the top universities in the nation. CHLA is located at the junction of the Hollywood, Los Feliz and Silverlake neighborhoods, and within view of downtown Los Angeles, Griffith Park, and the Santa Monica Mountains.
The Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Medical Group (CHLAMG) is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. We welcome applications from all interested candidates from diverse backgrounds, and encourage candidates from groups who are underrepresented in medicine to apply.
