We invite you to apply a position in our excellent Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program at Duke University Medical Center. We are looking to add an additional fellow to our complement of two fellows.
Our goal is to train the next generation of physicians who are outstanding clinicians, excellent medical educators, future physician-scientists, and academic leaders in pediatric nephrology.
We are a 3-year ACGME fellowship program. The 1st year is primary clinical and 2nd/3rd year fellows divide time 80% research and 20% clinical.
Highlights of the program include:
- 6 Full time faculty who are actively engaged in multiple clinical, medical education, quality and basic/translational research projects, is involved in national consortia and holds a number of grants.
- We have strong clinical and research collaboratives with our adult nephrology, urology, rheumatology, and abdominal transplant surgery colleagues.
- Longitudinal exposure in dialysis, transplant, and lupus clinics.
- Fellow continuity clinic to manage their own patient panel.
- Opportunities to rotate in urology and tuberous sclerosis clinics.
