The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Hasbro Children’s Hospital/Brown University, has a first-year level (PGY-4) fellowship position available for the 2023-24 academic year.
Clinical training takes place at Hasbro Children’s and Women & Infants Hospitals. Our 3-year program provides training and exposure to a wide variety of infectious diseases. Fellows spend 12 months on the inpatient consultation service. Outpatient experience includes longitudinal clinic experiences in general infectious diseases and HIV. Fellows participate in microbiology, transplant ID, and infection control rotations. Elective opportunities include pediatric TB clinic and public health rotations. Fellows spend up to 18 months conducting independent research. Training includes a research methodology course, core curriculum and many opportunities for lecture and case presentations.
This position is open to individuals who have successfully completed a pediatric residency.
Funding is guaranteed for all 3 years.
We support J-1 visas.
