The Department of Pediatrics at One Brooklyn Health at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center is looking for a pediatric hospitalist. We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, energetic and knowledgeable Board Eligible/ Board Certified General Pediatrician or Pediatric Hospitalist who works effectively as part of a health care team.
We are looking for an outstanding clinician, empathetic, caring and dedicated to the care of hospitalized children, interested in teaching residents and medical students and in improving the care of the community that we serve.
The Department of Pediatrics at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center is located in the CHC building of the hospital. It has 5 satellite ambulatory clinics located in Brownsville delivering preventive care and caring for well and sick children with 20,000 annual patient visits. We have 15 pediatric sub-specialty services. We have a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and a nationally recognized comprehensive sickle cell program. Our pediatric emergency department treats over 26,000 children annually. We have a categorical Pediatric Residency program with 36 residents.
