The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University invites you to join our dynamic team of academic Pediatric Hospitalists.

This individual will join an established academic practice of eight pediatric hospitalists. Our practice attends the primary teaching service caring for general pediatric patients in the acute care units and intermediate care units in addition to providing consultative services to subspecialty, surgical, and pediatric emergency department colleagues. Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Pediatrics.  Pediatric Hospital Medicine Board Eligibility/Certification is not required but encouraged.  The selected candidate will receive an academic faculty appointment commensurate with experience and qualifications.

We actively participate in a broad range of clinical, quality, educational, and research activities. The successful candidate will have a primary focus on providing clinical care in our inpatient settings and share overnight call at home for our service.

Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital is Oregon’s only academic health center. We have received U.S News & World ranking as # 1 in Oregon and nationally ranked in 7 pediatric specialties. Doernbecher serves a unique role in guiding pediatric care in Oregon providing more subspecialists in pediatric care throughout the state and serving as the region’s tertiary referral center. Our unique integration with the medical community reflects long-standing relationships with more than half of Oregon’s practicing pediatricians having received their training at Doernbecher.
