Headache Medicine:
The Pediatric Headache Medicine Fellowship program at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital is now accepting applications for 2023/2024. Our innovative one-year program integrates clinical and research training at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Barrow Neurological Institute, and Mayo Clinic Phoenix. Fellows will participate in assessment and management of pediatric and adult headache and craniofacial pain.
Our program consists of four UCNS certified pediatric headache specialists, amongst other pediatric neurologists and a nurse practitioner who have a subspecialty interest in Headache Medicine. Fellows will develop expertise in procedures including botulinum toxin injection, peripheral nerve blocks, and sphenopalatine ganglion blocks.
The Pediatric Headache Medicine Fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital is accredited through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS).
