The University of Colorado Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Obesity and Clinical Nutrition is accepting applications for a July 1, 2023 start date. The 1-year fellowship covers undernutrition (including malnutrition, growth faltering/failure to thrive, and vitamin/mineral deficiencies) and obesity and related comorbidities. This unique fellowship year is a mixture of outpatient clinics and inpatient consults at Children’s Hospital Colorado with opportunities to customize training to the fellow’s individual interests and goals. Fellows may also choose to complete a fellowship in global health at the same time, and thus graduate having completed two fellowships. The CU Nutrition Fellowship is also ideal for anyone interested in nutrition, primary care, rural practice, or hospital medicine, bringing unique skills to future positions. We have also had several GI-trained fellows who wanted to develop more focused nutrition expertise. For those with a passion for research, there is an option for additional research training in a T32-funded nutrition research fellowship.
