The UNMC/Children’s Nebraska Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship program offers training and education in all aspects of pediatric cardiology to provide an exceptional foundation for general pediatric cardiology. Our fellowship is a three-year ACGME accredited collaboration with Children’s Nebraska and UNMC. The curriculum is designed to provide fellows with a robust clinical experience to all subsections within pediatric cardiology as well as individualized and meaningful research and quality improvement experiences. Our program has a proven track record of 100% first-time board pass rate for all graduating fellows. Our graduates have gone on pursue advanced fellowship training in CICU, interventional cardiology, and advanced non-invasive imaging. In addition, our graduates are employed in private practice settings as well as larger academic institutions. We are the only referral center for all of Nebraska with a geographic area of reach that extends west across Nebraska into Wyoming, north into South Dakota, eastward across Iowa to Des Moines, and into some northern parts of Missouri.
