The Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program at the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids Michigan has an opening for a fellow beginning July 1, 2025.
Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is a 241 bed, free standing children’s hospital that serves central/western Michigan. This includes a 12-bed dedicated Cardiac ICU and a 108-bed level 4 NICU. We perform ~300 surgical cases, ~300 cardiac cath cases, and > 10,000 echoes yearly. The cardiology division is comprised of 3 cardiovascular surgeons and 22 cardiologists.
We accept two fellows per year. Our program provides a comprehensive pediatric cardiology experience in all areas of cardiology, with exposure to cardiac surgery, cardiac intensive care, inpatient and outpatient experiences, in addition to heart failure/transplant, cardio-genetics, pulmonary hypertension, and ACHD.
Our graduates have received advanced fellowships at CHOP (HF/Txp), Texas Children’s (EP), University of Michigan (ACHD), University of Alabama (Cardiac Critical Care).
