The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is pleased to announce two fellowship positions available starting in July 2025.

At UH Rainbow, we provide comprehensive care for children with diabetes and a wide spectrum of acute and chronic endocrine disorders. Consistently recognized as one of the nation’s top pediatric hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, UH Rainbow is proud to have its Division of Pediatric Endocrinology ranked among the top 15 programs for the past three years.

Our fellowship program is designed to fully prepare physicians for rewarding careers in Pediatric Endocrinology. Fellows gain extensive clinical experience at our full-service tertiary children’s hospital and affiliated satellite clinics, ensuring a robust foundation for clinical excellence. Fellows manage their own patient panels and collaborate with a diverse faculty team in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Beyond clinical training, we offer a wide range of opportunities in research, teaching, quality improvement, medical education, and administrative leadership. Fellows are mentored by internationally recognized faculty engaged in groundbreaking research in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including innovative diabetes technologies. Additional areas of expertise include lipidology, thyroid disorders, cancer survivorship, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, obesity, and gender-affirming care, offering fellows many opportunities for specialization.

Our program emphasizes tailored mentorship to help fellows achieve their unique career goals, whether in academic medicine, research, or clinical practice. A supportive, team-based approach allows us to provide exceptional clinical care and education. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to collaboration, critical thinking, and a growth mindset.
