Non-operative pediatric orthopedics is a new field that focuses on diagnosing and treating many non-surgical musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is pleased to offer a one-year, non-ACGME fellowship to train Board-eligible or Board-certified pediatricians to practice as specialists in non-operative pediatric musculoskeletal medicine. The Jackie and Gene Autry Orthopedic Center at CHLA, which houses the most comprehensive services in the Western United States, is ranked a top 10 pediatric orthopedic program in the country.

Fellows participate primarily in outpatient patient care. Clinical responsibilities will focus on general pediatric orthopedics, but also include sports medicine, spine and rehabilitation. As a fellow, you will gain experience in fracture management in the emergency room and inpatient consultations regarding pediatric clubfoot.
