The University of California Irvine Child Neurology Training Program is seeking candidates to start fellowship training in July 2024. Applicants must have successfully completed a pediatrics residency program or at least two years of pediatrics training that includes requirements for combined training in pediatrics and child neurology as per the American Board of Pediatrics (Pediatrics-Neurology | The American Board of Pediatrics (abp.org)).

The successful candidate will join our two categorical incoming PGY3 child neurology residents, as well as one PGY4 and PGY5 resident. Trainees will complete three years of training and be eligible for board certification in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Most training occurs at Children’s Hospital Orange County under the mentorship of a large faculty of 24 child neurologists from multiple subspecialties areas including epilepsy, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, neurodevelopmental disorders, brain injury, neonatal neurology, neuro-oncology, and headache medicine. Secondary training site include UC-Irvine Medical Center and the Long Beach VA.
