The Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University is recruiting a Chair, Department of Pediatrics. Reporting to the Dean of the Boonshoft School of Medicine, this position is responsible for building and leading an outstanding department encompassing the departmental missions of education, research, scholarship, and service. In addition, the Chair, Department of Pediatrics is a key member of the leadership team at the Dayton Children’s Hospital (DCH), reporting in that capacity to the CEO, to lead the educational, academic and research missions of DCH.

Candidates must possess a MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, be board certified in Pediatrics and be eligible to obtain a medical license in the state of Ohio. The successful candidate must have at least ten years of progressive leadership experience at a pediatric academic medical center with a record of professional accomplishments on a national and international scale, with a strong focus on academic and clinical success and a commitment to diversity.
