Our expanding Division of Blood & Marrow Transplantation seeks a dynamic physician to join our program. Our program is FACT-accredited, has a state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient unit, and functions independently with its own advanced practice practitioners and clinical research professionals. Our program also offers very novel investigator-initiated protocols in cellular therapy and sickle cell disease BMT.
The BMT hospitalist will do mostly day shifts and will be responsible for 6-8 BMT patients during the day. They will work collaboratively with the BMT attending, fellow, and NP. During night shifts, the BMT hospitalist would oversee the care of BMT and a subset of the oncology patients.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to immerse themselves in a busy inpatient clinical BMT service. Very significant opportunity for learning and possibility of QI projects or clinical research involvement as well.
Job is 40 hours a week. Anything above that is considered moonlighting. Significant opportunity to make additional income.
