The MedStar Health Georgetown University Fellowship Program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine in Washington, DC has an opening for a 1st or 2nd year Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellow for a July 2025 start. If those in the APPD community know of anyone who might be interested in a neonatology fellowship position in DC, we would appreciate your sharing our information as well.

The MedStar Georgetown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a Level IV regional referral center with both a high-risk inborn service and a fellow-led 24/7 air and ground neonatal transport service accepting referrals from DC, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia as well as from overseas. We offer state-of-the art care with services including pediatric surgery, pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty services, ECMO, iNO, HFJV, POCUS, whole body cooling, NIRS, video EEG and aEEG, and breast milk analysis allowing for personalized precision nutrition.   • USMLE or COMLEX transcript
  • ECFMG certificate or status report (if applicable)
  • Three letters of reference (one must be from the pediatrics program director)
  • Verification of Completion of Residency Training and Verification of Previous Training.

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital does not sponsor fellows for H1 visas but will sponsor J1 visas if required.
